Mysa Hus is a thoughtfully designed custom home in Cottagewood, Minnesota, inspired by Scandinavian folk art, natural materials, and the comfort of slow living. The name Mysa means "to cozy up" in Swedish — and the brand is built entirely around that feeling.
LAB MPLS brought me in to build the visual identity for Mysa Hus, with LAB leading the creative direction and brand messaging. My role was brand design and illustration, creating a visual system that felt as intentional and welcoming as the home itself.
The brand identity is warm, refined, and deeply rooted in Scandinavian tradition. The logo suite includes a custom monogram, floral emblem, and wordmark, each designed with soft curves and delicate line work that echo traditional Nordic motifs. Hand-crafted flourishes bring texture and personality to packaging, print materials, and social media. The color palette features cool blues, warm neutrals, and forest greens that mirror the natural landscape near the home. Pattern elements are inspired by classic Nordic wallpapers and textiles, adding layers of charm without overwhelming the simplicity of the design.
